Police make 2 more arrests in shooting

Richmond County sheriff's investigators have made more arrests in a Barton Village shooting last week that they said was gang-related, officials said Wednesday.

Daylon Bailey, 18, was charged with aggravated assault, affray and unlawful street gang activity, said sheriff's Sgt. Scott Peebles.

He said Mark Lynn Daniels Jr., 18, also was arrested and charged with affray and unlawful street gang activity.

Sgt. Peebles said the men were arrested in connection with a shootout in the Bar- ton Village neighborhood Aug. 12.

Both men are members of a gang known as Odub, he said.

The Barton Village incident involved a fight between that gang and another one known as MBC, short for Meadowbrook Click.
