Mr. Henry Mutimer (MARTINEZ, Ga.)



MARTINEZ, Ga.- Entered into rest Saturday, August 14, 2004, at his residence, Mr. Henry Ross Mutimer, Sr., 56, beloved husband of Jenny Jackson Mutimer. Mr. Mutimer was a native and life long resident of Augusta. He was a project manager with Blair Construction Company and President of Evans Paving and Grading. He was a veteran of the US Army. He graduated from Richmond Academy in 1966 and attended Truett- McConnell College. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, he enjoyed his family, frequent outings and trips with his friends, motorcycles and boating. Funeral Services will be on Monday, August 16, 2004, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Dr. David Fleming officiating. Pallbearers will be Richard Horton, Ed Templeton, Roy Brown, Bruce Alford, Johnny Bailey, Ronnie Hammett, Chris Brown, Jason Alford and Leonard Dye. Honorary Pallbearers will be employees of Blair Construction. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park. Other family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Angie M. and Hartie Cliatt, of Evans, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Henry R. Mutimer Jr. and Cathi, of Statham, Ga.; mother, Catherine G. Mutimer, father: the late George Mutimer, former sheriff of Richmond County; a brother and sister-in-law, George C. Mutimer, Jr. and Dianne Mutimer, of Augusta, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna and George Nasworthy of Greenville, S.C.; Lelia and Billy Cheney, of Martinez, Ga.; granddaughters, Jenna Elizabeth Cliatt, Rebecca Kathryn Cliatt, Maddison Avery Mutimer. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at Thomas Poteet and Son. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. P.O. Box 1725 Augusta, GA 30903.
