Mrs. Gloria Hampton (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga.- Entered into rest at the Medical College of Georgia, Wednesday August 11, 2004 Mrs. Gloria Hampton of Wrightsboro Road. Mrs. Hampton was a native of Augusta and a member of Living Word Christian Center; Survivors include two sons, Mr. Ernest (Sharon) Williams, Eden Prairie, Minn. and Mr. Joseph Christie, Augusta, Ga.; two daughters, Tara (James) Christie Norman, Augusta, and Ms. Marquita Bailey, Augusta; two brothers, Mr. Robert (Joann) Hampton, Atlanta; and David (Vivian) Hampton, Charlotte, N.C.; four sisters, Ms. Elizabeth (James) Crittenden, Piscataway, N.J.; Ms. Mattie (Charlie) Whitfield, Hephzibah; Mrs. Ruth (George) Hester, Evans; nine grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, August 16, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Living Word Christian Center, Dr. Larry D. Cranes, Eulogy. Interment will be Southview Cemetery. The funeral procession will leave 3525 Crawfordville Dr. at 12:30 p.m. The remains will lie in state at the church from noon until the hour of the services and will not be viewed after the eulogy.
