Mrs. Gladys Dudley (EVANS, Ga.)



EVANS, Ga.- Mrs. Gladys Mary Dudley, age 57, wife of Daniel Lee Dudley, Sr., entered into rest on Tuesday August 10, 2004 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 17, 2004 at 11a.m. at The Martinez Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses with William Watson officiating. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dudley grew up in Milton, Fla. as a child, and she graduated from Washington High School, where she met her husband and married him in 1962. Mrs. Dudley went on to receive her degree in Business Administration from the school of Business in Michigan. She enjoyed plants and was an avid gardener. She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness and a loving and caring person. She always assisted people who were in need and really enjoyed the ministry. Additional survivors include: one son and daughter in law, Daniel Lee and Kitt Dudley, Jr. of Martinez, one brother, Duke Riley of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, Jackie Odom of Monroeville, Ala., Julia Cole of Kansas City, Mo. and Marilyn Grace of Pensacola, Fla.; a granddaughter, Jessica Angel of Oak Park, Mich. Mrs. Dudley was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Fitgerald Dudley. The body will lie in state at the church from 10 until 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday August 16, 2004 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Platt's Funeral Home 3387 N.
