In the Aug. 12 newspaper, Douglas Scott says he is 58 and secondhand smoke hasn't killed him. If you'd like, I can e-mail or fax you a copy of my mother's death certificate. She never smoked a single cigarette in her life, but lived with a smoker and worked with smokers, and secondhand smoke killed her with emphysema and heart failure. I watched her die. I hope that never happens to Mr. Scott.
Ban public smoking now, before more people die!
