Mr. Felix Manning (Augusta)

Augusta - Mr. Felix Manning entered into rest on August 5, 2004 at 12:24 a.m. The Manning family lost a husband, father, son and a brother. Felix was known to his friends and co-workers as Kat. He worked many years for CSX before retiring. His family will always remember Kat as being the center of things when they planned their gatherings. He was truly loved and was always will to do his share and more. His brothers and sisters knew Kat as their father image and is grateful for the chance to gather around him for father's day even during his illness. His mother, Thelma Manning and wife, Shannon has said, "Whenever there was a problem in our lives and his family, Butch was there." He truly loved his church family Gospel Water Branch, Evans, Ga. , where he served on the ushers board. Kat was on that door faithfully and no one never knew about his health problems. Reverend Ramsey would tell Bro. Manning where he would be preaching as guest minister and Bro. Ma nning would be there with a smiling face. He will truly be missed by all. Funeral service were held Monday, at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church. Sign the guestbook at AugustaChronicle.com
