MONTREAL -- The Montreal Canadiens signed center Radek Bonk to a three-year contract on Friday.
Bonk spent all of his previous 10 NHL seasons with Ottawa, and had 152 goals and 247 assists in 689 games.
The Senators opted not to pick up the remaining $3.5 million on Bonk's last season and traded him to Los Angeles for a third-round draft pick. The Canadiens acquired him from the Kings along with backup goalie Cristobal Huet for goalie Mathieu Garon and a third-round draft pick.
Bonk had 12 goals and 32 assists last season.
