Baseball

The Terry Pendleton Division 1 Prospect Tour will hold a tryout at Augusta State University Aug. 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Cost will be $30. Basketball
The Augusta Area Ques will sponsor the second annual "Go For The Gold" Summer Jam, 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament for youth ages 7-15 Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Dogwood Terrace Boy's and Girl's Club. Gymnastics
Gymnastics classes will be offered at the H. Odell Weeks Activity Center for beginner and intermediate gymnasts on Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. The class is for boys and girls ages 4-12. Cost is $30 per month, with an additional fee charged to those who live outside of the Aiken city limits. For more information, call 642-7631.

Karate classes are held on Mondays from 7:15-8:15 p.m. at the H. Odell Weeks Activity Center for ages 5 and up. Cost is $50 per month with an additional fee for those who live outside of the Aiken city limits. For more information, call 642-7631.

Swimming
Tryouts will be held for the Aiken Augusta Swim League 2004-05 season Aug. 6 at USC Aiken Natatorium and Aug. 5 at the Augusta Aquatic Center. All tryouts will be held at 5 p.m. The swim league is also offering a "High School Stay Fit" level for eighth through 12th graders. Augusta only will offer a "Guppy" level for 5- to 8-year-olds learning how to swim.
