Even before we pull out of Iraq, our military needs to begin a reorganization effort geared to dismantling al-Qaida. As al-Qaida is primarily a cell-oriented organization - both autonomous and reporting to Bin Laden or whoever is in charge now - so should our military fight be against them throughout the world. We should also incorporate the use of Arab infiltrators who are Christians, or any Arab dedicated to the goal of seeing their demise.
These U.S. military cells should be focused on different aspects of the al-Qaida network. Some should be for financial disruption, most of all, assassination squads that take no quarter, ask no questions or take exception according to the country they are in.
These steps would ensure the destruction of their cells and the world terror they bring. The uncertainness and confusion caused could well force many to quit in fear alone. As they kill in stealth, so should they likewise die.
