The Augusta GreenJackets (9-14) won both games of a doubleheader against Asheville (12-11) on Sunday, but did it in different ways.
Augusta's bats paved the way for Game 1's 9-5 victory. A five-run fourth inning and a pair of runs in the seventh and ninth innings were enough for the Jackets.
Brandon Moss had five RBI in a 3-for-5 performance, and Kyle Jackson (2-12) picked up the win in Game 1.
Beau Vaughan silenced the Tourists' bats for a 3-1 Game 2 victory.
Vaughan (6-1) went six innings and struck out three for the win.
The deciding hit came off the bat of Randy Evans, whose two-RBI double in the fourth inning plated Ian Cronkhite and Zack Borowiak.
