Mrs. Videll Thames (WAYNESBORO, Ga.)



WAYNESBORO, Ga.- Mrs. Videll Beasley Thames, 72, entered into rest Friday, July 16, 2004 at the Burke Medical Center. Mrs. Thames was a homemaker, worked for Burke Manufacturing for 20 years and was a self employed merchant in Shell Bluff. She was a member of the Waynesboro First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Alexander Methodist Church. Funeral services will b e held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2004 at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Alderman officiating. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens. Surviving Mrs. Thames are three daughters, Margie Steinberg, Bloomfield, Conn., Betty Cleveland, Dallas, Texas, Shirley Hayman, Waynesboro; three sons, Willie Thames, Waynesboro, Ben Thames, Columbus, Ga., Glenn Thames, Lexington, S.C.; two brothers, Franklin Beasley and Henry Beasley. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Smokey Thames, Punkin Thames, Buck Hammett, T-Beau Thame s, Larry Daniel, Justin Thames, Boo Boo Thames and Donald (Duck) Thames.
