MTV shines with 'Real World - San Diego'

It's the perfect ending for a crazy season of The Real World on MTV - Brad ends up drunk and in trouble again, Robin and her attorney plead for her freedom in court and everyone spends their last night in San Diego boozing it up with champagne.

Brad, who tries to save underage Cameran from getting in trouble for using a fake ID, doesn't get arrested, but it looks like a close call. Will he ever learn to control himself while he's drunk? No, but at least he impresses Cameran one last time.

Cameran tells Robin the one thing she learned from her is that "if all else fails, hit." Talk about an awkward moment! Robin, who is in court for punching a Marine earlier this season, gets off easy with a charge of "disturbing the peace."

I must admit, I will miss the cast of The Real World: San Diego - they have been one of my favorites. They are one of the more entertaining groups, simply because not a show went by where someone wasn't drunk and starting drama. And all those arrests were just icing on the cake.

The Real World: San Diego Reunion Special airs tonight on MTV, and it looks like quitter roommate Frankie will be there. Yeah - let's keep our fingers crossed for more drama!

On Tuesday night VH1 aired the 40 Greatest Reality Show Moments, and I have to agree with their top pick - the Sue Hawk "snakes and rats" speech on the first Survivor. The Midwestern truck driver calls eventual winner Richard Hatch "the snake" who eats "the rat" - runner-up Kelly Wiglesworth. It truly is one of reality TV's best tell-off speeches and it gave Survivor and its Tribal Council a place in reality TV history.

Two big reality TV premieres are coming up on CBS tonight - Big Brother 5, followed by The Amazing Race 5.

On Big Brother, 13 strangers are holed up in a house rigged with cameras following their every move. The show will air three times a week - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The Amazing Race follows 11 pairs as they race across the globe and compete in challenges as quickly as possible to avoid elimination. I believe it is the best reality show on TV because it combines drama, suspense, adventure and fun with a constantly changing and challenging environment - the world.
