Mr. James Battle (AIKEN, S.C.)

AIKEN, S.C.- Mr. James Battle, 71, of Stone Drive, Aiken, entered into rest Thursday, July 1, 2004, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at 2 p.m., from the Second Baptist Church, Aiken. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery, Aiken. Mr. Battle was a retired employee from the Owens-Corning Fiberglass Co., of Aiken. Survivors include his wife, Alberta Battle, Aiken; one daughter, Sharon Cribb, North Augusta, S.C.; one son, Craig M. Battle, Eustis, Fla.; two sisters, Rosie Barefield, Aiken and Annie M. Drayton, Arlington, Ala.; two brothers, Willie Battle, Eustis, Fla. and Richard Battle, Aiken; five grandchildren.
