Dr. Archibald "Moonlight" Graham, Field of Dreams

"(The character) is the thoughts and feelings of many men and boys whom played the sport of baseball. Those players that rode the bench, the fans that come to every game to watch, the coaches that drill instructions and demand results, and even the super star athletes that provide such plays that most of us just dream about. Doc Graham is a part of all of us. The men and boys that, "WANT TO BE or COULD HAVE BEEN" but for some reason or another, life's path led to a different destination, leaving just a wish or thoughts to dream upon ... If only..."

- T.E. Freeman, Martinez

Roy Hobbs, The Natural

"My favorite guy would have to be Robert Redford in The Natural. He was just plain studly in that movie."

- David Thompson, Augusta

Rick Vaughan, Major League

"I liked Charlie Sheen in Major League. He was pretty intimidating. He was the ballplayer who just needed a pair of glasses and he was great after that. 'Wild Thing' is also a great nickname for a relief pitcher."

- Dickie Nye, Red Springs, N.C.

Jake Taylor, Major League

"I have to go with Tom Berenger in Major League as my favorite. He was what I thought a baseball player should be like growing up. He was a tough guy. He had the hot girlfriend. His team wasn't winning, but he never quit giving his all."

- Noel Glasgow, Assistant Sports Director, WJBF-TV, Augusta

The Natural

"I like The Natural, but for different reasons that most people do. I liked how it showed off the shady dealings with one owner trying to steal the team from another and all of the underhandedness. I bet a lot of stuff like that went on it baseball. We just never knew about it. That was something different that you didn't see in many baseball movies that just glorify everything."

- Dana Williams, Augusta

Pedro Cerrano, Major League

- Manager and former minor leaguer Chad Epperson

LEAST FAVORITES

Summer Catch

"The most ridiculous movie to me had to be summer catch. I saw that in the theatres with my girlfriend Julie. She's now my fiancee. There was this part where the pitcher leaves his perfect game to go chase after a girl he likes. I looked over at her and said. 'Julie, I love you do death. But there's no way I'm ever leaving a perfect girl to chase you down before you catch a plane.' She may be the perfect girl, but come on we're talking about a perfect game. I don't know any player on this or any baseball team that's going to let their pitcher walk off the mound in the middle of a perfect game for a girl. That's just utterly ridiculous."

- Augusta GreenJackets Pitcher, Jarrett Gardner

Major League III

"The worst baseball movie of all time had to be Major League III. That's the one where they go back to the minor leagues. They were really stretching it at that point and it broke with that movie."

-Carl Chesley, Augusta

The Fan

"The fan is the sorst sports movie I've ever seen.. I just had a lot of high expectations with who was in it."

-Chipper Jones, Atlanta Braves
