COACHING: Assistant at Auburn, 1956-63; head coach at Georgia, 1964-88; winningest coach in school history: 201-77-10.

CHAMPIONSHIPS: Southeastern Conference; 1966, '68, '76, '80, '81, '82. National title, 1980.

BOWLS: Sugar (five times); Cotton and Sun (three each); Liberty and Gator (two each); Citrus, Peach, Tangerine, Bluebonnet and Hall of Fame (one each).

HEISMAN TROPHY WINNERS: Herschel Walker, 1982

ATHLETIC DIRECTOR: Georgia, 1979-2004; teams won 19 national titles during his tenure.
