Mr. Roland Joubert, Sr. (HEPHZIBAH, Ga.)



HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Roland O. Joubert, 86, formerly of Cape Coral, Fla. and Warminster, Pa. entered into rest on June 12, 2004 at his residence with his wife of 57 years by his side, Mary E. Joubert. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 18, 2004 at 4:30 at the Hephzibah United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary McWhorter officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Mr. Joubert was a native of Tonnay Boutonne, France. He joined the French Navy in 1935 at the age of 17. He was in the Italy and Mediterranean Campaign and the D-Day Invasion. He was awarded The Medaille-Militare Croix De Guerre with Silver and Bronze Stars and also The Fourragese Personelle. He retired from CCA after 28 years. Roland dearly loved his family and his church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking. He is survived by his wife Mary E. Joubert; a daughter, Jacqueline E. Joubert; sons, Steven D.
