Mr. Lewellen Michaud (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Lewellen Joseph Michaud, 47, died unexpectedly June 13, 2004 in Arlington, Texas. He was born in Madawaska, Maine, October 11, 1956, the son of Hector Eugene and Marie Antoinette Michaud. He was a retired Master Sargeant of the U.S. Army. He served his country for 22 years, and was a veteran of Desert Storm. He was currently employed by DPOW at Fort Gordon, Georgia. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (Waller) Michaud of Augusta, Ga.; three beloved daughters, Suki Helmer and her husband, Chad of Charleston, S.C., Nicolette Towery and her husband, Chris of Copperas Cove, Texas, Sarah Michaud of Augusta, Ga.; two beloved sons, Donald and Christopher Michaud both of Augusta, Ga.; two beloved step-sons, Jon Teal of Augusta, Ga. and Brad Teal and his wife, Lisa, of North Augusta, S.C.; six brothers, Eugene Michaud and his wife, Jackie and Leo James Michaud and his wife, Claudette, all of St. Agatha, Maine, Reno Michaud of Buffalo, N.Y., Hector Michaud, Jr. of Tennessee Colony, Texas, Jean Guy Michaud of Van Buren, Maine, Gerald Michaud and his wife, Michelle of Grand Isle, Maine; two sisters, Rose Cote and her husband, Reynold of Grand Isle, Maine, Linda Lavoie and her husband, Lionel of Frenchville, Maine; three beloved grandchildren, Madison and Jackson Helmer and Neelou Towery and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Madawaska, Maine with interment in the St. Thomas Cemetery.
