THE REV. LINDELL COOLEY, a former worship leader at Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Fla., and the pastor of Grace Church in Nashville, Tenn., will lead worship at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday at River of Life Church, 1411 Columbia Highway in Aiken.

CHEF'S MEAL

CHEF JULIO BARILLAS, of Orlando, Fla., will cap weekend classes on nutrition with a gourmet meal at Augusta Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4301 Wheeler Road in Martinez.

The classes are Building the Temple, at 11 a.m. today; Nutrition, from 5 to 8 p.m.; and More Flavor, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The cost of the meal is $10. For more information, call 651-0412.

SPAGHETTI DINNER

IN HONOR OF THE FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI, OBSERVED SUNDAY on Catholic calendars, the Augusta deanery will sponsor two events.

A spaghetti dinner will start at 7 tonight at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School, 1220 Monte Sano Ave. Dinners are $5 a plate, with a $20 family maximum.

A procession with banners will start about 8:15 p.m. at the corner of Bellevue and Monte Sano avenues and proceed to St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church

SUMMER MEETING

WHITEOAK CAMPGROUND IN COLUMBIA COUNTY WILL HOLD ITS SUMMER MEETING JUNE 20-27.

THE REV. JANE BROOKS, THE district superintendent for Augusta, will speak at the opening service at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 20. The Rev. Bob Gillespie, a retired United Methodist minister from Augusta, will speak at 8 p.m. and at 11 a.m. weekdays, June 21-25.

The Rev. Steve Dodson, the pastor of Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church, will be the speaker at 8 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 21-25. The Rev. George Freeman, the pastor of First United Methodist Church in Thomson, will speak at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 26. The Rev. Robert Taylor, a retired United Methodist minister from Augusta, will close the meeting at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 27.

Whiteoak is on Whiteoak Road, five miles west of Pumpkin Center at the intersection of U.S. Highways 221 and 223.
