Mrs. Thelma Howard (SYLVANIA, Ga.)



SYLVANIA, Ga. - Mrs. Thelma Collins Howard, Age 87, Died Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro. Mrs. Howard was a native of Candler County, a Homemaker, and a member of Wades Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Howard and son, Charles Alexander. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-laws, Pasty A. Hall, Scottsdale, Az., Betty H. and LouDean Hinely, Guyton, Cindy H. and Jerry Brown, Rocky Ford, Dot H. and Mike Howell, Appling; three sons and daughters-In-law, Louis Alexander, Melrose, Florida, Bobby and Sandra Alexander, Atlanta, and Paul and Ann Alexander, Aiken, S.C.; two brothers, William J. Collins, Stockbridge, and Clinton Collins, Rockledge; twenty-one Grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 12, 2004 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be he ld Sunday, June 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Wades Baptist Church. The body will lie in state, from 1 - 2 p.m. Reverend Dan Joyner and Reverend R.R. McGuigan will officiate. Her Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
