Mrs. Fannie Holmes (TRENTON, S.C.)

TRENTON, S.C.- Entered into rest May 29, 2004, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mrs. Fannie Hankerson Holmes, 85, of 1500 Bettis Academy Road, Trenton. Mrs. Holmes was a native of Barnwell, S.C. and a member of Mount Canaan Baptist Church, Trenton. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2004 at Mount Canaan Baptist Church with Rev. George L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Deacon Thomas T. Holmes; nieces, Elizabeth Holmes, Darlene Hankerson and Opal Snelling (Gary) Moore; brothers-in-law, Orva Snelling and Hickman (Thelma) Holmes; sisters-in-law, Essie McKenzie, Thomasina (Andrew) Bouknight, Frances Holmes and Bernice Holmes; other nieces and nephews, Rosetta (Harvest) Smith, Harriet Smith, Carolyn (Walter) Hood, Herman (Diana) Holmes, Jeanette (Reginald) Scott, Jacquelyn (Richard) Rose, Fannie (Rudolph) Stokes, Thomas (Trenette) Holmes and Zanthia (Randall) Hazel and a host of o ther relatives and friends.
