Mr. Thomas Williams (WAYNESBORO, Ga.)



WAYNESBORO, Ga.- Mr. Thomas Edward "Tom" Williams entered into rest Saturday, May 22, 2004 at the Burke Medical Center. Mr. Williams was a life long resident of Burke County and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church; he also served his country in the US Army during World War II. Mr. Williams was also known in the community as a carpenter and farmer. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 24, 2004 at 3 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Shryock officiating. The committal service will follow at the Jefferson Family Cemetery. Family members include his nieces and nephews; Sara and Ray Saxon, Waynesboro; Carlene and Al Nelson, Waynesboro; Sonya and Clifford Lewis, Waynesboro; and Paige and Bob Braithwaite, Atlanta.
