Mrs. Eunice Till (ORANGEBURG, S.C.)



ORANGEBURG, S.C.- Mrs. Eunice Till, 87, of Till Rd., died Sunday afternoon, May 23, 2004 at her residence after an extended illness. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 25, at 4 p.m. at Four Holes Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Flowers and Rev. Lloyd Till officiation. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Till was born in Cope, a daughter of the late Joseph Harley and Mabel Oliver Clark. Since her marriage in 1943, she and her late husband, J. Leroy Till resided in the Four Holes Community. She was a member of Four Holes Baptist Church, the Adult Sunday School Class and the Byron Reed Mission Group. She was a loving mother and MaMa who enjoyed her friends, quilting and bridge. Her sense of humor was a treasure for those who knew her. After her retirement from Belk Hudson, she enjoyed traveling with her family and outings with her church groups. Her memory will always be cherished by her family, daughters, Betty Till of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Eddie (Alice) Durgin of Orangeburg; son and daughter-in-law, John L. Till (Alice) of Augusta, Ga.; sister, Mrs. Millie C. Carpenter of Augusta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Dave and Joe Durgin of Orangeburg, Kimberly Till of Augusta, Ga. and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m., Monday at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. At other times friends may call at the residence and funeral home.
