Mrs. Reba Prescott (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mrs. Reba Lovett Prescott, widow of Broadus D. Prescott, entered into rest Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2004, from Poteet Funeral Home, Peach Orchard Road, with the Rev. Baxter Stanley, Rev. Bobby Coleman and Pastor Larry Sneed officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Dale Carter, Allen Thompson, William Dicks, Broadus W. Prescott Jr., Robert Kramer and John Welch. Mrs. Prescott was born in Richmond County and lived in Augusta most her life. She was a homemaker and lifelong member of Curtis Baptist Church and attended First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Janie P. and Hal Rosser of Grovetown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Broadus Wayne and Mary Prescott of Aiken, S.C., and Thomas Farrow and Helen Prescott of Jackson, MI.; one sister, Elizabeth L. Stanley of Augusta; seven grandchil dren, Broadus W. Prescott Jr., Christine Paige Prescott, Laura Prescott Davis, Julia Lee Jackson, Elizabeth Lee Jackson, Daniel E. Prescott, Lindsay Marie Prescott; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro, Road, GA 30904.
