MIAMI -- Gloria Estefan knows how she'll be spending her summer - on a concert tour.
"It's been almost eight years since my last tour and I'm looking forward to revisiting places that hold such beautiful memories for me," the singer said in a statement Tuesday. "As usual, the fans will get a high-energy show with plenty of the hits they've grown to love but also infused with the music from my new album, 'Unwrapped."'
The Live and Re-Wrapped tour will open July 30 in McAllen, Texas. It will end Sept. 24 in Miami, where Estefan lives with her husband, producer Emilio Estefan. Other stops on the 27-city tour include New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Boston.
"Unwrapped" is Estefan's first English-language album since 1998.
