Mrs. Lois Medlock (EVANS, Ga.)



EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Lois W. Medlock , 93, of 4275 Owens Road, Evans, entered into rest Monday, May 10, 2004 at Doctors Hospital, Augusta, Ga. Mrs. Medlock, a native of Brundidge, Ala., lived in Perry, Ga. and Waynesboro after retirement. She was a homemaker and an active member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church where she was a Lay Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Episcopal Church Women and Altar Guild. Mrs. Medlock was a former Pink Lady at Burke Medical Center and a very avid bridge player. Mrs. Lois Medlock was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Mr. Milo Brantley Medlock, Jr. Family members include three daughters, Anne M. Hogan, Waynesboro, Florence McAuley, Danville, Calif.; Beverly James, Hilton Head, S.C. and a sister, Irma Gwin, Fairhope, Ala. and six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Episcopal Church with the Father Theodore O. Atwood, Jr. o fficiating. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, Macon, Ga. Pallbearers will be Leonard David Hogan, Jr., Michael McAuley, Christopher James, Jerry Reynolds, Leonard D. Hogan, Sr. and Gregory James. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 11, 2004 from 7 until 9 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hogan, Sr., 706 Wood Valley Rd., Waynesboro. Memorials may be made to the St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Post Office Box 50, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830.
