Force snaps losing streak

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Leon Murray threw for 334 yards and eight touchdowns, and the Georgia Force snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 72-51 victory over the Columbus Destroyers on Sunday in the Arena Football League.

Murray went 24-for-34, scored on a rushing touchdown and threw three scoring passes to both Markeith Cooper and Dialleo Burks.

Cooper had 10 catches for 148 yards, while Burks finished with eight receptions and 104 yards for Georgia (5-8), which scored a team-record 44 first-half points.

For Columbus (4-9), Ryan Vena completed 14 of 23 passes for 184 yards and three touchdowns.

Sedrick Robinson had eight receptions for 114 yards and two touchdowns for the Destroyers.
