Week honors nation's nurses

PrimeCare IV Infusion Specialists is celebrating National Nurses Week from May 6-12. The purpose of National Nurses Week is to raise public awareness of the value of nursing and to help educate the public about the vital roles nurses play in meeting the health care needs of the American people.

To celebrate National Nurses Week, PrimeCare would like to pay tribute to the nurses in the nation - especially in Georgia and South Carolina - who provide highly skilled, safe, quality care in a variety of settings, and who encounter increased challenges to their professional and ethical commitment to deliver essential health care.

We also would like to pay a special tribute to our fallen comrade, Tamara Dunstan, who was such a shining example to the nursing profession through her dedication to the children of the Medical College of Georgia Children's Medical Center.
