Mr. J. H. Thompson (WARRENTON, Ga.)



WARRENTON, Ga.- John Henry "J. H." Thompson, 72, of Little Briar Creek Church Road, Warrenton, Ga., entered into rest May 4, 2004. He was the beloved husband of Rebecca Kennedy Thompson. Other survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Gary M. Thompson and Melinda Thompson; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie T. Dunham and John Dunham; brother, Alton Thompson; three grandchildren, Jason Dunham, Jonathan Dunham and Hannah Thompson, all of Warrenton, Ga. Mr. Thompson was a lifelong resident of Warren County. He was the owner and operator of Thompson Brothers Dairy for 29 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and he was a member of Little Briar Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 2004 at Little Briar Creek Baptist Church. with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Pallbearers will be Gene Chalker, Ricky Cofer, Ralph Franks, Dave Gilmer, Robert Johnson and Lamar Massey. Interment wi ll follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
