Mrs. Dorothy Peacock (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest April 26, 2004 at her residence, Mrs. Dorothy M. "Dot" Peacock, wife of Walter E. "Buddy" Peacock. Family members include her daughter, Jacquelyn Parken of Augusta; son, Gary E. Peacock of Augusta; brother, Gael Bright of Kingsport, Tenn. and sister, Sandra Hilton of El Paso, Ark. and three grandchildren, Stephen D. Parken, Lee N. Peacock and Charlotte Peacock. Mrs. Peacock was a native of Kingsport , Tenn. and had lived in Augusta for the past 58 years. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Church Women. She retired from the Richmond County Tax Commissioners Office. Graveside services will be Thursday, April 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. in Westover Memorial Park and the Memorial Holy Eucharist will be at 12 noon at the Christ Episcopal Church with The Reverend Troy Beecham as celebrant. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funer al home. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 1902 Greene Street, 30904 or the Christian Appalachian Project, P.O.
