Mr. Charlie Yeomans (MACON, Ga.)



MACON, Ga.- Charlie M. Yeomans, 82, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2004. Funeral services will be graveside Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park with visitations one hour prior at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Born in Telfair County, but had been a resident of Augusta for most of his life before moving to Macon in 1991. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Augusta and served in the United States Navy during WWII. Mr. Yeomans was a retired master carpenter and meat cutter. He is survived by a son, Don Yeomans, of Orlando, Fla.; two step-daughters, Myra Kaufman of Macon, and Mary Ann Greet of Gulf Shores, Ala.; two step-sons, Michael Bailey of Macon and William Bailey of North Carolina; two sisters, Coleen Ledford of Florida and Lucille Fowler of Macon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive him.
