Mrs. Lucille Smith (LANGLEY, S.C.)



LANGLEY, S.C.- Entered into rest on Thursday, April 22, 2004, Mrs. Lucille Smith, wife of Samuel K. Smith. Survivors include a son and a daughter-in-law, Samuel Leroy and Sarah Phillips Smith, Gloverville; three grandchildren, Monica S. Miller, Angela S. Miner, Sabrina S. Broos and their husbands; and four great-grandchildren, Michael Miner, Kristen Miller, Brandon Miner, and Justin Miller. Mrs. Smith was born in Midville, Ga. and was the daughter of the late Jim and Hattie Dunn Lamb. She had been a member of Langley Pentecostal Holiness Church for forty-five years where she was a former youth Sunday School teacher. She was retired from Clearwater Finishing Plant. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed as the praying and faithful matriarch of her loving family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Langley Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Gene Brown and Mrs. Gloria Rush officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be deacons of the church. Memorials may be made to Langley Pentecostal Holiness Church, P.O. Box 326, Langley, S.C. 29834. Mrs. Smith will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. on the day of the service. Friends may call Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy. No. 1, Langley, S.C.
