Mrs. Siglinde Dante (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)



NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.- Funeral services for Mrs. Siglinde "Oma" Dante, 71, of Old Walnut Branch, North Augusta, who died April 21, 2004 will be conducted Saturday, afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Grace United Methodist Church. Dr. James C. Adams officiating. Private interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dante was a native of Germany, a former resident of Gladstone, New Jersey, having made North Augusta her home for the past 11 years. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, a volunteer for the American Cancer Society Relay F*or Life, the American Heart Association and the Belvedere Elementary School PTO. Mrs. Dante was an avid cook and gardener. Survivors include her husband, Anthony A. Dante; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Tracy Dante, Lawrenceville, Ga., three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Ann and Barry Olson, Donna Marie Dante and Theresa and Tim Spieker, all of North Augusta; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ann a Spieker, Julia Katherine Spieker, Melissa Lynn Dante and Matthew Dante; a brother, Ewald Grassl, Germany; a sister, Helga Wendolf, Germany. Pallbearers will be Tim Spieker, Barry Olson, Tony Dante, Matthew Dante and Bill Brown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1725, Augusta, Ga. 30903. Stephen D.
