Ms. Marie Temmermand (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga.- Marie Temmermand, 73, went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2004, at University Hospital. Born on July 22,1930 in Riverton, N.J., she had lived in Augusta for 20 years. Survived by a large and loving family, her children are Paul (Susan) Temmermand of Lexington, Ky., Maureen Akins of Augusta, Stephen Temmermand of North Beach, Md., Rosemary Akins of Augusta, Brian Temmermand of Apex, N.C., Michael (Joane) Temmermand of Blackstone, Va., Jesse (Terri) Temmermand of Hephzibah and Judith (Tony) Clagg of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by her sister, Frances Cline of Morton, Pa.; 20 grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren and her extended church family at Morningside Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 16, 2004, at 11:30 a.m., at the Holiday Inn, Bobby Jones Expressway and Gordon Highway conducted by Rev. Kevin Steel and Rev. Joey Vinson. Prior to the service friends may visit with the family at 10:30 a.m. At Mar ie's request, her body has been donated for medical research.
