Mr. Wiley Hall (SUMMERTOWN, Ga.)

SUMMERTOWN, Ga.- Mr. Wiley Fredrick Hall, 78, resident of Emanuel County, died Wednesday evening in Dublin. Mr. Hall was a native of Emanuel County. He had lived in Emanuel County since 1995, after a lengthy military career. He was a member of the Lambs Chapel United Methodist Church, a retired veteran of the U.S. Army with a bronze. He was past president of the Midville Lions Club. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home, with Rev. Ed Thompson and Rev. Jerry Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in the Bithynia Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearer will be Roy Overshon. Survivors include daughters, Bobbie Overshon of Dixon, Mo. and Patricia Pezan of Savannah, Ga.; son, Bruce Hall of Midway, Ga.; stepson, Charles Conn of Cullman, Ala.; brothers, Ed Hall of Swainsboro and James Hall of Cataula, Ga.; sisters, Bernice H. Bailey of Summertown, Ga., Sadie Ruth Coleman of Brandon, F la. and Melba Macdonald of San Jose, Calif.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday evening between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
