Mrs. Dora Evans-Hillie (ATLANTA, Ga.)



ATLANTA, Ga.- Mrs. Dora Mae Evans-Hillie, 53, entered into rest Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Wills Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 2 p.m. at True Fellowship Pentecostal Church in Lincolnton, Ga. Burial will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Evans-Hillie, a native of Lincolnton, Ga., attended Westside High School. She was a member of Solomon Pool Holiness Church where she served as mother. Survivors include her husband, Jim Hillie, Atlanta; a son, Jamison Janice Evans, Newark, N.J.; two daughters, Jennifer Evans and Roxie Carberry both of Atlanta; five brothers, Walter (Teresa) Ware, Jr., Gary (Beverly) Ware, Charles Ware, Fred (Tronza) Ware, all of Lincolnton, Kenneth (Cheryl) Ware, Sr., of Atlanta; four sisters, Bertha (Prophet Michael) Kennebrew, Saline Leverett of Lincolnton, Mattie Mason of Atlanta, and Pastor Peggy (Roger) Zellars of McCormick, S.C.; five grandchildren and a host of nie ces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Bertha Kennebrew, 1983 Lewis Family Road today from 7 to 9 p.m. Norris W. Gunby, Sr. Funeral Home, Lincolnton, Ga.
