Mr. William Girardot (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mr. William Jennings Girardot, age 79, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at Doctors Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Benny (Steven) Girardot. A graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Friday, April 2, 2004 at 2 p.m. Mr. Girardot was a member of Whole Life Ministries and was the owner of Hill BP on Central Avenue. Mr. Girardot served in the Navy during both WW II and the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion, Jack C. Fortune Post No. 205. Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Bonny Twilley and husband, Robert; granddaughter, Sydney Olivia Twilley; sister, Annette Braswell and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Mr. Girardot was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Edward Girardot and Susan Elizabeth Hoard; brother, Martin Edward Girardot Jr. and sister, Mattie Postell. Active pallbearers will be Royce Runner, Carlton Colclough, Danny Fitzgerald, Marty Braswell, Ronald Hogland and Howard Gaither.
