Archery

  • Baseball

  • Family Y's youth program is holding registration from March 22-April 3 at the Wheeler Branch, 3532 Wheeler Road, from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays.   • Sure-Shot Basketball Camp for elementary school students will be held June 7-11 and July 19-23 at Lakeside Middle School from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Cost is $75.   • The Family Y and The First Tee will hold a Par Fitness Youth Golf Program for six Saturdays, starting March 20. The program runs from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and includes golf instruction and golf-specific personal training. Fees are $54 for Family Y members; $119 for non-members.   • The Golf Channel will present the Mutual of Omaha Drive, Chip and Putt Junior Challenge at 1 p.m., April 3 at the First Tee of Augusta. Registration begins at 1 p.m. 250 comptetiors will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Competitors will be divided into age groups 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14. The event will be featured on The Golf Channel's Golf Central, and will also be highlighted in a one hour special.   • Perfect Game Softball will host an Identification Camp for players ages 13-18 at Georgia Tech on April 24.   • Swimming

  • The Aiken-Augusta Swim League is offering clinics for children ages 6-18 who want to brush up on stroke techniques. The Augusta clinic will be held at the Augusta State University pool March 29-April 2 (no class April 1) from 6-7 p.m. The Aiken clinic is scheduled at the USC Aiken pool April 5-8 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The cost is $40 per swimmer. A series of Saturday morning clinics will also be offered April 3, 10, 17, 24, and May 1 from 10-11 a.m. Swimmers can enroll in all five sessions for $50 or $15 per session.   • Weightlifting

  • The Python Power League of Augusta will present the 2004 Georgia State "Drug Free" Powerlifting Championships at 11 a.m., April 17 at teh Martial Arts Tournament Center. The four events will be Bench Press Only, Deadlift Only, Iron Man, and Full Power. The event is open to youth, teens, submaster, and master, and there will be ladie's and men's tournaments.
