Mr. Rex Allison (MARTINEZ, Ga.)

MARTINEZ, Ga.- Ernest Rex Allison, age 52, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 26, 2004. He is the son of Walter C. Allison and the late Pauline A. Allison of Martinez, Ga. Mr. Allison is survived by his son, Charlie W. Allison (Lisa) of Clearwater, Fla.; a grandson, Travis Relkin; a brother, Leonard A. Allison (Jeannie) of Grovetown, Ga.; one sister, Gloria A. Paulos (Blake) of Martinez, Ga. Nieces and nephews include Heather Allison, Jarrod Allison, Jesse Allison, and Josh Paulos. He lived most of his life in Martinez and had recently returned to the area from Tulsa, Okla. where he was in management for Staples, Inc. Mr. Allison attended the Church on the Move in Tulsa, Okla. and New Hope Worship Center in Grovetown. Special thanks to Dayna Swinson, Arvis Mack, Cynthia Washington, and the Davis family for all the loving care you provided to Rex. The family will receive friends at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Director s March 28, 2004 from 2 to 3 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following. The Rev. Cullen Hicks and the Rev. Bryan Cockrell officiating. He will be laid to rest Monday, March 29, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. at the Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery, Lincolnton, Ga.
