Mrs. Nell Ford (WALTERBORO, Ga.)



WALTERBORO, Ga.- Mrs. Nell Reeves Ford, age 78, of Cottageville, died Sunday morning, March 14, 2004, at the Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday morning, March 17, 2004, in The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Walterboro with Reverend Jessie Jerkins and Reverend Ralph Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park in North Charleston. Mrs. Ford was born October 5, 1925 in Cottageville and was a daughter of the late Robert McKiver Reeves and Nell Carter Reeves. She was educated in Cottageville schools and was a retired secretary of Spells Furniture in Cottageville. She was the widow of Mr. Victor Hollingsworth Roberts and Mr. Frank Ford. She was a longtime member of Cottageville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son in 1997, Michael Hollingsworth Roberts, MD. Surviving her are two stepchildren, Elizabeth Pridgen of Graniteville and Samuel Ford of Aiken; a sister, Mary R. Newton of Cottageville; two brothers, William M. Reeves of Walterboro and George "Buck" Reeves of Cottageville; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements by the Brice W.
