ATLANTA -- Scott Headd hit an RBI double in a four-run 10th inning as Virginia beat Georgia Tech 8-5 on Sunday.
Headd and Josh Darby both drove in two runs on three hits to finish a three-game sweep of the Yellow Jackets.
Georgia Tech (9-9, 0-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) has lost four straight home games for the first time since 1986.
Virginia (17-2, 3-0 ACC) took a 4-3 lead in the eighth inning off a triple by Matt Dunn and a run-scoring hit by Darby.
But in the bottom of the ninth, Georgia Tech tied it when Brandon Boggs drove in Eric Patterson from third on a groundout to second base.
Canon Hickman (3-1) earned the win by allowing one run and one hit in 1.2 innings.
Blake Wood (0-1) took the loss, allowing three runs on four hits in two innings.
