Crystal Barber has been promoted to administrative assistant/office manager in charge of policyholder service and client relations for the MONY Group. Ms. Barber was also recognized for outstanding service to area clients at MONY's annual year-end conference at West Lake Country Club.

  • Cheryl Carswell has been named student cohort recruiter for the Southeast region for Troy State University. Ms. Carswell earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Augusta State University and her master's degree in psychology and counseling from Troy State University. The Augusta native has 35 years of business experience.

  • William "Bo" Whitehead has been named commercial service manager for Jim Whitehead Tire and Auto Service and Chris Williams has been promoted to outside sales representative. Mr. Whitehead is a 12-year employee. Mr. Williams, of North Augusta, earned a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of South Carolina Aiken.

  • Marty Mullis has joined the Health Center Credit Union as vice president. Mr. Mullins was employed by SRP Federal Credit Union.

  • Anne Hale Miglarese has been named president and CEO of EarthData, effective April 5. The Aiken native is currently chief of the Coastal Information Services branch of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Coastal Services Center. She earned a master's degree in geography from the University of South Carolina Aiken.

  • Kimberly Nugin and Shaquana Greene have completed Lexicor's inaugural quantitative EEG Artifactor Training Program. Lexicor Inc. continues its recruitment and training program in Augusta. The two-week program covered a range of subjects including neuroanatomy, brain wave patterns, quantitative EEG and data artifact training.
  • James (Jim) K. Stiff, CEO of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA, has been elected to lead the Goodwill Conference of Executives, comprised of 203 Goodwill CEOs from around the world. Mr. Stiff serves as secretary/treasurer of Goodwill Industries Global Board and was appointed two years ago to Goodwill Industries International's board of directors.

    Sherman and Hemstreet GMAC Real Estate announced the following agents have completed the GMAC Premier Service Commitment Training: Buddy Blitch, Brenda Climer, Irma Conrad, and Jean Elliot.

    John T. Chandler has been named the top producer of mortgage loans for December and January for the Georgia Bank & Trust mortgage department.

    W. Christian Etterlee II, senior accountant with Fuller, Frost & Associates, CPAs, PC, has become a certified public accountant under the licensing requirements of the Georgia State Board of Accountancy.

    Carol S. Nobles, director of student recruitment and admissions at the Medical College of Georgia, has been elected president-elect of the Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.

    Elaine Foss, vice president of A&E Auto in Martinez, has been named to The National Register of Who's Who in Executives & Professionals for her performance in automotive sales, finance, customer satisfaction and community relations.
