Mr. Mike McLarnan (ATLANTA, Ga.)



ATLANTA, Ga.- Terrance Dale McLarnan (Mike), 70, born in Jamestown, North Dakota, a resident of Atlanta for the past 27 years, passed away January 22, 2004. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a graduate of Hamline University. Mike spent his career in the Optical industry and was President of Atlanta Frame Express Surviving him is his beloved wife of 26 years, Maxine Solomon McLarnan; daughters, Beth McDonald and husband, Jim of Minneapolis, Minn.; Kerry Durham and husband, Sam of Jacksonville, Fla. and Stephanie Ann McLarnan, a senior at Woodward Academy. He is also survived by his brother Rod McLarnan of Moorhead, Minn.; three grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son Daniel, his parents, Cliff and Ida McLarnan and brother Jack McLarnan. Mike was a man of character who was generous, warm and filled with joy. He had an innate goodness and a deep personal relationship with God. He adored his family, never met a stranger and cherished his wife and children above all else. Mike was a colorful, charming man who loved life and made everyone who knew him feel special. Mike McLarnan will be missed. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 25 at 1 p.m. at Spring Hill with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
