Mr. Daniel LaFavor (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mr. Daniel Barton LaFavor of Koger Street entered into rest Sunday, January 18, 2004 at the V.A. Medical Center, D.D. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Hill, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. He was a native of Jefferson County, a World War II Army veteran, retired from Babcock and Wilcox, a member of the International Union of North America AFL-CIO Laborers No. 1137 and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where he was a member of the October Birth Month Fellowship Ministry. Survivors are three daughters, Ann (Henry) LaFavor, Snellville, Linda (Bobby) Durham, Hephzibah, Blanche LaFavor, Atlanta; three sons, Daniel E. (Belinda) LaFavor, Lithonia, Qucell LaFavor, Atlanta, Milton (Barbara) Lynch, Margate, Fla.; step-children, Robert W. Bennett, Augusta and Sarah (Raymond) Herbert; one brother, Cutecell (Gloria) LaFavor, Augusta, 11 grand children, nine great-grandchildren; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
