Mr. Arthur Wright (HEPHZIBAH, Ga.)



HEPHZIBAH, Ga.- Entered into rest Saturday, November 22, 2003 at the Medical College of Georgia, Mr. Arthur Wade Wright, 61, of Postell Drive, Hephzibah. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 29, 2003 at 12 noon from Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. K. B. Martin officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 28, 2003 from 6p.m. until 7 p.m. Mr. Wright was a member of Antioch Baptist Church; he was educated in the public schools of Richmond County and was a 1959 graduate of Lucy Craft Laney High School. He matriculated at South Carolina State College in Orangeburg, South Carolina and later transferred to Paine College. He retired for Quebecor World, Evans, Ga. Survivors are one brother, Mr. Theodore (Ted) T. Wright, Augusta; four sisters, Mrs. Janet W. Mayes, Augusta; Mrs. Veronica W. (Bill) Gist, Greensboro, N.C.; Mrs. Dianne W. (Gil) Gilyard, Augusta; and Mrs. Peggie W. (John) Borum, Marietta, Ga.; an uncle: Mr. James Kimbol, Chicago, IL; five aunts, Mrs. Mildred W. Clay, Philadelphia, Penn.; Mrs. Jewel T. Gross, Great Neck, N.Y.; Mrs. Lela W. (G. Samuel) Stone, Evans; Mrs. Jean Wright , St. Albans, N.Y.; and Mrs. Mary Wright, Raleigh, N.C.; a devoted and loving friend, Ms. Griselda Kahn; god-daughter, Ms. Tamya N.
