Mrs. Harriet Hart (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)



NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Harriett R. Hart entered into rest on Thursday, November 20, 2003. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 28, 2003, at 11 a.m., at Platts Belair Road Chapel with the Reverend John Bryan officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Mrs. Hart was born in Connoquenessing, Pa. She lived in Struthers and Madison, Ohio, before retiring to Naples, Fla. She attended Youngstown University. She was a loving Mother to Linda and an adoring Nana to T.J. and Katie. HH was talented, creative and a fun person who was admired and loved by all who knew her. She was an outstanding seamstress, avid reader, and quite a classy lady who loved driving her convertible. She worked for the Daily Legal News in Youngstown, Ohio. After moving to Madison-on- the-Lake she was employed as Office Manager of NEO General Hospital. In Naples, she was Office Manager for DeFlavis Construction Company and Mulberry Homes. Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her husband, the late Jesse C. Hart, who entered into rest September 18, 1982 in Naples, Fla.; and her sister Kathryn Helen Roemer, who entered into rest, September 30, 2002 in Naples, Fla. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Hart Behm, North Augusta; granddaughter, Kate Behm Jenkins and her husband Lee, Statesboro, Ga.; and grandson T.J. Behm, North Augusta; niece, JoAnne (Richard) Creed; nephew, James (Donna) Roemer. Special friends in Harrietts life include Edith Nixon, Chesterland, Ohio; Leona Graves, Matthews, N.C.; Gene Wirtzberger, Madison, Ohio. The family will be forever thankful to Alice Faye Templin and Joretta Jay Perry, for the care, devotion and affection they gave to make her final years much more enjoyable. Following the memorial service the family will greet friends for refreshments in the solarium.
