Mr. Frampton Eaves III (AIKEN, S.C.)



AIKEN, S.C. - MR. FRAMPTON LAWTON EAVES III, 54, of 568 Chime Bell Church Rd., Aiken, beloved husband of Peggy Cook Eaves, died suddenly Sunday, November 23, 2003, at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, N.C. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2003, from the graveside in Southlawn Cemetery with Revs. Jim Duncan and Rick Rogers officiating. A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Mr. Eaves was a son of Hazel Thames Eaves and the late Frampton Lawton Eaves, Jr. He was the manager of Eaves Oil Co. in New Ellenton and was a member of Foreman Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to his wife and mother, include two sons, Frampton Lawton Eaves IV and Jesse Samuel Eaves, both of Aiken; and three brothers, William Lacey "Bill" Eaves and John Thomas "Tom" Eaves, both of Aiken and Carl Vincent Eaves of Fort Worth, Texas. Pallbearers will be Carl Bledsoe, Dave Hubbard, ONeal Hudson, Joe Cassells, Dickie Hiers and Curtis Young. Memorials may be directed to the Connie Maxwell Childrens Home, P.O. Box 1178, Greenwood, S.C . 29649. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, S.C.
