ITHACA, N.Y. -- Jarrett Jack had 21 points and eight assists to lead Georgia Tech to a 90-69 victory over Cornell Sunday.
Leading 42-38 at halftime, the Yellow Jackets' mounted a 14-2 run in the second half to put Cornell out of the game.
Marvin Lewis added 18 points for Georgia Tech (3-0). B.J. Elder and Luke Schenscher had 15 each. Jack also contributed six rebounds and four steals.
Georgia Tech's defense dominated the contest, limiting Cornell to 39 percent shooting and forcing 21 turnovers. The Yellow Jackets outrebounded Cornell 44-37.
Ka'Ron Barnes led Cornell with 21 points and six assists. Gabe Stephenson had 10 points and 10 rebounds for his third career double-double for the Big Red (0-1).
