Telemarketers should thank the 50 million households who signed up for the do-not-call list. Those folks probably wouldn't buy if the marketer did get through. Now the marketers can concentrate on the more than 50 million who do wish to buy.
The list has culled out the lemons, and it has made life easier and more efficient for the marketers. They should thank the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communication Commission and the government for enhancing their prospects for sales.
