Ms. Sara Zeagler (STATESBORO, Ga.)



STATESBORO, Ga. - Ms. Sara Morgan Zeagler, age 85, died Saturday morning at Gentilly Gardens in Statesboro. The Richmond County native was a member of Sylvania First United Methodist Church and retired after 31 years of teaching for the Screven County School System. Ms. Zeagler is survived by her daughter, Marsha ONeal Zeagler of Statesboro; two grandchildren Tyler McPherson Thompson of Newnan and Cameron ONeal Thompson of Statesboro; two sisters, Frankie Jeffers of Savannah and Carolyn Shepherd of Augusta. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Ms. Zeagler will be Monday, October 13, 2003, at 11 a.m., at Thompson-Strickland- Waters Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bill Brown officiating. Burial will be at Zeagler Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brad Jeffers, Chris Jeffers, Steve Smith, Marshall King, James Hill and Bob Mills. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the loving staff of Gentilly Gardens. Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge.
