Mrs. Janie Jones (WRENS, Ga.)



WRENS, Ga. - Mrs. Janie L. Jones, 61, entered into rest October 11, 2003 at her residence, Old Thomson Road. Funeral services will be held at James Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, October 13, 2003, at 11 a.m., with the Dr. James Ford and Rev. Marvin Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Lamb Cemetery, Emanuel County. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones was a native of Emanuel County, and has lived in Wrens for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband Roland O. Jones, Jr. and two brothers, Larry Peebles, and Ronnie Peebles. Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Dowdy, Stephanie Sanders, Wrens; two sons, Vincent Jones, Avera, Paul B. Jones, Wrens; five brothers, Edward Peebles, Savannah, Danny Peebles, Adrian, Joey Peebles, Donnie Peebles, Jimmy Peebles, Swainsboro; three sisters, Joann Reynolds, Paula Wheeler, Bete Claxton, Swainsboro and Barbara English, Twin City; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
